Email Setup for Outlook 2007

 

This tutorial shows you how to set up Microsoft Outlook 2007® to work with your Citescape e-mail account. This tutorial focuses on setting up Microsoft Outlook 2007, but the settings used are similar to other versions of Microsoft Outlook. You can set up other versions of Microsoft Outlook by using the settings in this tutorial.


  1. In Microsoft Outlook, from the E-mail Accounts menu, select Tools.

  2. On the Email tab of the Account Settings window, click New.

  3. In the E-Mail Account Wizard, Select a POP3 or IMAP account as shown below and click Next:

  4. On the Add New E-mail Account window, enter your information in the proper fields. Bear in mind, passwords are case sensitive so be sure to enter them exactly as given. Once done, click Next:

  6. Allow the E-Mail Account Wizard to search for the proper settings for you account. You may see something like the following screen for a little less than a minute. Relax and allow it to find the proper settings for our server:

  7. If the configuration is successful, you should see something resembling the following screen. Click Finish.

  8. Your E-Mail account is setup and ready for use. Please click close to begin using it.
